Maria Schmidt is a junior at Mount Pisgah. This is her first year writing for the Liberty Bell. She is excited to write articles and investigate important events. She plays lacrosse and is a member of the Red Cross Club and Mock Trial. She moved to the United States 3 years ago from Chile.
