We have all grown up watching Disney princess movies on the screen, but it’s rare that we look around us and notice all of the amazing people who serve us every day. All of Mount Pisgah’s teachers are kind and incredibly caring, so let’s talk about a few of them.
“The Little Mermaid” features Ariel and her adventurous lifestyle. This princess is curious about her world and determined to chase her dreams. Even when things get tough, she finds a way to be optimistic and is never afraid to break out into song. Like Ariel, Mrs. Saari never fails to make her classroom energetic and full of life. There is never a dull moment in her room, and when she breaks out into song, it always puts a smile on people’s faces.
Jasmine, the beautiful princess in “Aladdin,” is confident, brave, and intelligent. She is empowering and spreads kindness throughout her actions. Ms. Dover embodies compassion and is effective in her teaching skills, like Jasmine. She is personally one of the kindest people I have ever met, and she never fails to make people feel loved and understood.
Cinderella from “Cinderella” is loving and nurturing. She treats everyone with compassion and patience, even when things are unknown. Likewise, Mrs. Garner is loving and caring in her classroom. She makes people feel important and known.
“Beauty and the Beast” features a girl named Belle who is smart and loves learning new things. She always finds the good in situations and is creative. Ms. Morris, similar to Belle, is understanding and patient, guiding her students with empathy.
Mulan from “Mulan” is brave and determined. She is resourceful and will not give up if she can’t find the answer right away. She pushes the boundaries of thinking and fights for what is right. In this way, Mrs. Rogers is courageous and motivates others to try their best in math. Even when the problem is complex, she pushes her students to strive for their best and to show their hard-working skills.
Rapunzel from “Rapunzel’ is energetic and finds ways to be positive despite her circumstances. She loves helping others and will never give up on her dreams. If her mind is set on something, nothing can get in the way of that. Mrs. Gambill is kind-hearted and genuinely loves the people around her, just like Rapunzel. She believes in every student that walks into her classroom and knows that they can do great things.
Princess Aurora from “Aurora” is calm and patient with others. She truly embodies gracefulness and loves having connections with everyone around her. Similarly, Mrs. Amato motivates her students to grow and stay calm in the face of uncertainty (the APUSH exam). She always has a hopeful look on life, even when things get hard.
Pochantas from the movie “Pochantas” is adventurous and caring. She brings people together just like teachers bring their students to new knowledge. In the same way, Mrs. Edgar values people’s emotions and encourages students to explore different ideas and perspectives.
Altogether, every teacher here is a princess, even if they weren’t in this article. But the cool thing is, we are all royalty in the kingdom of Jesus. Since our Father is a King and we are His children, it means we should walk in His confidence every day!

Emily, this article is so enjoyable and creative. Thank you for your kind comments comparing me to Jasmine. I always did like her clothes. Seriously, thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness.
