On Nov. 12, Reghan Frazzetta put pen to paper, and officially signed to play volleyball for the Hendrix College Warriors. Hendrix College is a private, liberal arts school located in Conway, Arkansas and competes at the Division III level.
As a leader on the Mount Pisgah varsity volleyball team, Frazzetta led the team to a state championship and another appearance in the state championship the following year. Her position as starting setter was vital to the team’s success.
Frazzetta attributes much of her continued improvement to her coaches at Mount Pisgah, Coach McMasters and Coach Aguirre.
“I have been lucky to have had two great coaches that have allowed me to grow in my position and supported me through all my ups and downs,” said Frazzetta.
In addition, her confidence has grown since joining the Mount Pisgah varsity volleyball team, helping prepare her for the collegiate level.
Frazzetta began the recruiting process in eighth grade by emailing coaches and began talking to them on the phone her sophomore year. After more than 20 calls with prospective coaches, Frazzetta decided to continue her academic and athletic career at Hendrix College.
Frazzeta said she had a gut feeling that Hendrix College was the place for her after touring and spending time with the team.
“I chose Hendrix college because it was everything I was looking for,” stated Frazzetta. “The campus was beautiful, they had the academics I wanted, and the team was amazing.”
The Mount Pisgah community is excited to see what Frazzetta will accomplish and cannot wait to cheer her on throughout college.
